El mercado encuentra una especie de consolidaci\u00f3n, las gr\u00e1ficas se tornan cansadas y cada vez se necesita m\u00e1s fuerza de compra para superar los m\u00e1ximos de las sesiones anteriores. La composici\u00f3n del mercado, sin embargo, no parece haber cambiado mucho, el clima no es excelente en Sudam\u00e9rica ni en varios or\u00edgenes y la demanda contin\u00faa siendo importante.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Existen algunos indicadores que nos desconciertan, por un lado, los spreads se encuentran muy apretados e invertidos y eso nos habla de un mercado que necesita el producto con urgencia. Por otro lado, el inter\u00e9s abierto en la soja es r\u00e9cord de todos los tiempos alcanzando casi el mill\u00f3n de contratos, y los fondos de especulaci\u00f3n est\u00e1n el 76% del m\u00e1ximo en la posici\u00f3n neta larga de los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n

Debido a la falta de acarreo en soja en comparaci\u00f3n del ma\u00edz, el farmer vendi\u00f3 el 27% de la soja nueva vs 6% en 2019 y el 21% del ma\u00edz en l\u00ednea con el a\u00f1o pasado. Cabe recordar que durante el ciclo pasado la cosecha de soja a\u00fan no hab\u00eda comenzado en este momento, mientras que en la actualidad avanza al 6%. Creemos que, bajo esta estructura de mercado, el comportamiento del Farmer deber\u00eda continuar siendo el mismo.<\/p>\n

Para que la escenograf\u00eda cambie completamente, necesitamos observar que el ritmo de compra de China se ralentiza y \/ o que aumentan las toneladas en la oferta. Brasil, a\u00fan est\u00e1 a tiempo de entregar una excelente campa\u00f1a si las lluvias se reanudan a mediados de octubre, lo mismo en Argentina. Adem\u00e1s, el reporte del USDA de fin de septiembre puede evidenciar una oferta mayor a la esperada sobre la campa\u00f1a que culmino en USA.<\/p>\n

La \u00fanica forma sana de jugar el lado corto del mercado es con opciones. A\u00fan hay mucho por delante en este mercado, con un ambiente macroecon\u00f3mico incierto, riesgo de nueva ola de contagios COVID en el hemisferio Norte y un mundo que contin\u00faa lastimado desde la primera ola. La demanda es real pero los precios altos la retraen si la administraci\u00f3n de riesgos no estuvo presente.<\/p>\n
